The clamping force is just enough to keep them securely attached without inducing headaches, and the headband padding rested lightly on the top of my head. During all of my long gaming sessions or sessions listening to music while writing this review I never felt the need to take the G432 off because they were uncomfortable. It doesn’t matter how good they sound if you can only bear to keep them on for ten minutes. Logitech G432 Gaming Headset – Testing and GamingComfort is an important gauge for headsets. Admittedly there aren’t many variables for the G432 since it doesn’t have lighting, but what is there is clear and self-explanatory. I prefer G HUB to the old Logitech Gaming Software. G HUB is where you can turn on DTS Headphone: X 2.0 surround sound. There are different predetermined EQ curves (called Moods) with the ability to add custom EQ tuning with a 10-band equalizer. When the G432 is attached to your computer via USB extra sound features can be controlled. Logitech G HUB software is the replacement for Logitech Gaming Software and can link all your Logitech peripherals in the same was as LGS did. Included with the headset is a 3.5mm splitter for the audio and mic ports on your soundcard, and a USB adapter that allows full functionality paired with the Logitech G HUB software. It terminates with a single 3.5mm connector that combines the audio and microphone signal. The in-line volume controls found on the G430 have been moved to the back of the left ear cup, which eliminates the extra weight on the cable that can pull at the headset. The cable is 6.5 feet long, so it offers plenty of slack if you don’t have front connections on your PC or are connecting directly to your console that sits by the TV. The G432 are a wired-only headset, so they're compatible with PC, Mac, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and mobile devices with 3.5mm connections. The microphone is larger, too, and housed within a retractable boom that mutes in the up position. Larger drivers allow the headset to potentially produce more accurate sound compared to if it had smaller drivers, like the 40mm units found in its predecessor, the G430.
