I deal with so often it's bloody routine at this point. This is especially so in public discourses where people gang-up, repeat one another's arguments and look for any opening to tear down reasoning with ridicule. Most are just hoping I'll echo their sentiments and are disappointed / hostile when I do not. Some people are genuinely interested in what my opinions are. This is often caged in a "what do you think about X?" question. You have no idea what you're talking about.īeing a public figure means that every day, someone insists that I share their feelings about X-issue, whether it be by forum posts, private message, email, Discord, through the in game client or whatever. You are very good at throwing daggers but not very good at receiving them.Ĭome off it. Stating that I live in a perpetual state of moral outrage based on a few posts is just ridiculous and a blatant misrepresentation of my stance and my previous postings. And I do not think that the forum represents everyone living in the world of Pollyanna. Just as you have been in many of your own. I do not think it is unreasonable to be upset. I am, as many others obviously are based on their posts, outraged about certain parts of the game and the marketing.
And of course you are the extraordinary person who can be TOTALLY objective about yourself! Go and re-read it, but why bother, you are obviously above any form of criticism and/or compliments. You also apparently missed the complimentary part of my original post and stated, “I was trying to make you out the bad guy,” which is far from it. It also furthers my argument about how you always eventually come around to WG’s way of thinking. How in the world did you get that from my comment? Your post made, and still makes me cringe.
